The offers and sale of products present on APETITUS are governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale cover products purchased on APETITUS, sold directly by "APETITUS Srl" with registered office in Rome, Via Archimede 10, VAT ID 02245170564
The General Conditions of Sale may also be modified and/or updated at the Seller's will as a result of any regulatory changes. Changes will take effect after they are posted on the Seller's website. For this reason, users are encouraged to regularly access the website and check for the publication of the most up-to-date General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

How to buy on APETITUS
To purchase products on APETITUS the consumer must first fill out an order form and submit it electronically. It is important to fill out the order form in its entirety by following the instructions on the form itself.
Before confirming the purchase the consumer is summarized the unit cost of each selected product, the total cost in case of purchase of more than one selected product, the shipping costs and the total amount, including VAT and expressed in Euro.
By confirming the purchase, upon completion of the transaction, the consumer will receive an e-mail message containing the date and the total amount of his order. Upon receipt of the order, verified the correctness and completeness of the data contained in the form, the contract is concluded and the courier will take charge of the order, proceeding to send the product(s) purchased, to the address indicated by the consumer in the order form.
In the event that the products, presented on APETITUS, are no longer available or on sale at the time of sending the order form, it will be the responsibility of the Seller to communicate promptly and in any case within thirty (30) days from the day following the day on which the order was transmitted to the Seller, the possible unavailability of the products ordered.
In case of unavailability of the item, the Seller will refund what has already been anticipated. The refund will be made on credit card, or on current account by bank transfer.
We advise the consumer, to check the actual availability of the goods, following the indications in the product sheet, or by contacting the Seller directly.
Similarly, it is advisable to check, at the time of shipment of the order, the final price of the product that may, for various reasons, have changed from that previously indicated in the catalog.
Once the order form has been transmitted electronically, the consumer unconditionally accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Sale listed here and undertakes to abide by them.
The characteristics of the products are listed within each individual product sheet. The consumer is encouraged to always refer to the written descriptions, and in case of need, to contact Customer Service.

Import taxes and customs duties
Shipments made outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes levied by the receiving country or customs duties. These are always borne by the consumer.
These amounts are determined when the product enters the destination country, differ from country to country, and for that very reason are not calculated at the ordering stage.
Methods of payment
PayPal
Payment of the price of products and related shipping costs can be made in one of the ways indicated in the order form.
Payment by credit card, which is the most convenient and convenient, is made through PayPal.
In this case APETITUS will connect the consumer to PayPal, which will take care of charging the order amount. Therefore, the credit card number will be handled in total security by PayPal's system and will never be disclosed to third parties.
Through PayPal you can pay with any Credit Card. Once connected to the PayPal page,
will simply click on the link:
"Don't have a PayPal account? Open a PayPal account or pay with your credit or prepaid card."
This is what PayPal states within the "PROTECTION PROGRAMS AND SECURITY ADVICE" section, regarding the security of transactions with their system:
"When you register or access our site, we verify that your browser is running the Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) encryption protocol or later version. This protocol protects the integrity of your data as it is transferred to our servers, using an encryption key length of 168 bits (the maximum commercially available).

Regulation
The points described above were formulated in compliance with Italian law. Specifically, Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (Consumer Code, pursuant to Article 7 of Law No. 229 of July 29, 2003, published in G.U. No. 235 of October 8, 2005-Ordinary Suppl. No. 162) and Legislative Decree No. 70 (Implementation of Directive 2000/31/EC on certain legal aspects of information society services in the internal market, with particular reference to electronic commerce, published in G.U. No. 87 of April 14, 2003 - Ordinary Supplement.
Legislative Decree of February 21, 2014, No. 21 for the implementation of Directives 93/13/EEC AND 1999/44/EEC.
For the resolution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the court of reference of his town of residence; in all other cases, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Rome.
Acknowledgement and approval
Pursuant to and in accordance with Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, you hereby declare that you have read, carefully examined and specifically approve, the General Conditions of Sale described above.
