A few interesting facts about La Perla's master chocolatiers.

La Perla is a Piedmontese company that has been producing and selling chocolate and chocolate truffles typical of its tradition since 1992. Over the years it has specialised in gluten-free chocolate, and this happened somewhat by chance. This turning point towards gluten-free came about thanks to Sergio Arzilli, one of the owner brothers, who at the age of 38 and with a diagnosis of coeliac disease in hand, did not want to abandon the family tradition of master chocolatiers and reinvented himself. With his brother he explored, deepened and improved the world of gluten-free chocolate. Today, it is his daughter Valentina Arzilli who carries on the tradition. Just this year, she received the GammaDonna Award of QVC Next Award 2020 for the most innovative product, an expression of the creative excellence of Made in Italy worldwide.
